The company proudly announces its pivotal role in transporting Norwegian, Swedish, and Italian forces in conjunction with Nordic Response 2024. This exercise, previously known as Cold Response, has been a longstanding military event in Northern Norway. For years, Aircontact has been instrumental in arranging flights for Cold Response. With the recent inclusion of Finland and Sweden into NATO, Cold Response has evolved into Nordic Response, drawing participation from over 20,000 soldiers representing 13 allied nations.

In preparation for Nordic Response 2024, Aircontact meticulously planned nearly 100 flights to ferry troops to and from Northern Norway/Sweden, collaborating with various European operators. The majority of these flights utilized narrow-body aircraft like the Boeing 737-800, Airbus A320, Airbus A220, and Dash 8Q400. Additionally, several wide-body flights featuring Boeing 787 and Airbus A330 aircraft were also deployed.

Despite the usual slowdown in the airline industry during winter months, Nordic Response, alongside other operations, has propelled Aircontact to achieve record-breaking flight numbers in February and March. This week alone, the company has scheduled over 80 flights. Beyond military and government operations, Aircontact has also catered to the transportation needs of football clubs, companies, and incentive groups.

Expressing pride in its integral role in Nordic Response logistics, Aircontact extends gratitude to the Norwegian, Swedish, and Italian military for their cooperation. The company also acknowledges the crucial contribution of the operators who made this achievement possible.

Aircontact’s involvement in Nordic Response 2024 underscores its commitment to efficient and reliable transportation solutions, ensuring the success of military exercises and other endeavours requiring precision logistics.
